A traditional family run
teashop serving quality homemade food created from fresh local
ingredients, with many Welsh specialities in interesting cosy
surroundings. We are proud to have homemade Gluten free options
available, most of our food is suitable for vegetarians and we will
endeavour to help others with specific dietary requirements.
Chris and Jill have owned The Sampler for the
past 14 years and have developed it into a very special tearoom.
Jill bakes every morning ensuring freshly made scones and cakes,
whilst Chris is the museum ‘curator’ of our very own Home Front
Experience in the cellar Air Raid shelter.
Displays include ‘2000 years of British history from
the River Thames’, ‘Pembrokeshire Shipwrecks’, ‘Fossils’,
‘Pembrokeshire in the War’ and more.
The Tearoom walls are crammed with
antique samplers for you to enjoy whilst taking refreshment,
perhaps a bowl of homemade soup in front of a cosy open fire in
the autumn or a refreshing glass of our famous homemade lemonade
in the summer.
